HAIRST Rings
Dried pulses cast in recycled silver and transfromed into pleasingly chunky rings. These one of a kind rings were made for HARVEST, Craft Scotland’s Contemporary Craft exhibition, curated by Stacey Hunter.
The rings feature solid silver casts of beans, seeds and seed pods from food crops grown in Scotland. The specimens were foraged, picked from friends gardens and generously shared by Seeds of Scotland.
Beans and seeds have long been worn as symbols of new beginnings, endurance and good luck.
The sizes (conventional UK standard sizing) are shown next to each item.
